Our Services
Septic System Inspection
All basic septic inspections include pulling a copy of your home’s septic system installation diagram/permit on file with your county environmental health department (if available). We will locate your septic tank, distribution box (if present), and drain field lines. All lids covering your septic tank will be opened, and the tank will be inspected for overall condition, presence and quantity of solids and effluent, and condition of outlet baffle or outlet filter tee. A water flow test will be conducted to check for possible obstructions of the output line or drain field lines.
Advanced Septic System Diagnostics
If the basic septic inspection indicates an obstruction beyond the septic tank, or if the client requests, the drain field lines from the distribution box can be scoped and pictures taken of any obstructions, if present. This service is performed for an additional fee.
Minor Repairs
Many minor issues can often be repaired at the time of the inspection. Cracked or broken septic tank lids can be replaced for a nominal fee. Outlet tees and filters can be installed or replaced, also at low cost. We may recommend the installation of concrete or HDPE plastic tank risers, which will make future maintenance of your septic tank much easier and less time-consuming to do.
